The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Building facilities, DR facilities, daily management/resourcing of helpdesk and supplier management Head Offices
  • Reporting Link – Head of Operations for appraisal, personal development and objectives
  • Daily management of Service desk coordinating engineer resource, dealing with initial customer/technical escalations from clients/engineers.
    Regular DR suite checks
  • DR suite builds/moves/tests
  • Stock Inventory
  • Assisting with documenting and improvement of procedures
  • Head office supplier management
  • Rota and Holiday administration
  • Initial point OOH escalation for DR and IT support
  • Procurement  (Pricing and raising of purchase orders)
  • Ensuring engineers timesheets, overtime and expenses are correct and submitted on time
  • Tennant management Southwark Street (Facilities Management)
  • Assist recruitment process
  • Building facilities management to include health & safety, supplier access to buildings, security of building, non-technology equipment maintenance e.g.  Lift, fire equipment, door entry system , kitchens, toilets, cabling, air conditioning/heating, comms room, desking, décor, cleaning, entrance hall.

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Working as a NOC/Helpdesk manager (or similar) within an IT or Telecommunications vendor with a windows based server environment and layer 2/3 networking
  • Hands on man management skills: Leading by example and setting clear goals and regular objectives.
  • Proven track record in network management with an in depth network technology understanding (switching/routing, security, wireless, VoIP etc.)

The Package – What You Could Earn:

  • Basic salary up to £40,000
